FAQs
Will the cats be kept together or are there separate spaces/rooms?
Each cat has its own custom-designed private cabin, ensuring personal space and comfort. The cabins include a fur cloth-lined step, allowing cats to choose whether they want a warm or cool surface, scratch post, food bowl and hiding space.
How often is the place cleaned?
We follow a strict three-step cleaning protocol after each cat leaves:
- Dusting – To remove fur, food particles, and litter sand.
- Pet-safe disinfectant cleaning – To sanitize the cabin thoroughly.
- Enzymatic cleaner treatment – To eliminate any lingering odours and bacteria.
Each cabin, along with every surface and fur cloth, is cleaned after a cat leaves. The play arena and common space are cleaned daily.
Additionally, litter boxes are cleaned daily and completely replaced after a cat’s stay. The litter boxes are also washed using pet-friendly cleaning solutions to maintain hygiene.
How is safety and security ensured?
- CCTV monitoring is in place for 24/7 supervision.
- We have two caretakers living on-site full-time, ensuring cats are never left alone.
- All windows are secured with double-layer netting (mosquito net + pigeon net).
- The entrance has a double-door system to prevent accidental escapes.
- Each cat has unique behavior, so instead of a fixed protocol, we personally assess and comfort anxious cats, ensuring they feel safe and at ease.
What is the routine for feeding and playtime? Should I get cat food and cat litter separately?
- Feeding Schedule: We follow the same feeding routine as provided by cat parents to avoid dietary disruptions. Owners must bring their cat’s food, as sudden diet changes can cause stomach issues.
- Playtime: Cats are allowed out to play freely under supervision and are only placed back in their cabins when they choose to return, during mealtime, or for rest.
- Litter: We provide fresh litter for every cat, so you don’t need to bring any unless your cat uses a specific type (e.g., Pinewood or Tofu).
Will the other cats around be vaccinated and without fleas?
Yes, vaccination proof is mandatory for all boarded cats. Additionally, we require spot-on flea treatment before check-in to ensure a flea-free environment.
Is there a vet available in case of emergency?
We have on-call vets from Doodley who can visit if needed. Additionally, Sudeeksha Pet Hospital, a 24/7 veterinary clinic, is nearby for emergencies.
What are the pick-up and drop-off options?
Pick-up and drop-off times are scheduled between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Additional charges will apply for services requested outside of these hours.
What is the cost per day? Are there any additional charges?
- Our standard boarding rate is ₹600/day (billed from morning to morning).
- If we purchase food for your cat, it will be added to the bill at a 10% discount on MRP. Vet visits, medications, or special medical care are chargeable separately.
What should I bring along with my cat?
- Familiar items: We highly recommend bringing a cloth or item with your cat’s scent to provide comfort in the new environment.
- Toys: If your cat has favourite toys at home, you’re welcome to bring them.
- Bedding (Optional): If your cat is used to sleeping on a specific blanket or bed, you can bring it along.
